May is mental health awareness month, so you’re bound to hear a lot about self care. Sometimes it seems like self care is something that requires a lot of time, energy or money. Often, it’s something we reserve for Sundays, when we have a few hours to spare. But self care doesn’t have to be so complicated — in fact, self care should include small but meaningful actions we incorporate into our daily routines to find balance and manage stress.
Ellevate Network — a global, cross-industry women’s networking group with a chapter right here in Nashville has put together an amazing event for finding balance and managing stress. On May 14, Val will be joining a panel that’ll include wellness experts, other yoga instructors and therapists to help you understand how to create small habits and routines that’ll nourish your body and mind. We’ll talk through easy, actionable changes that can help you feel your best so you can be your best.
